Lil Wayne‘s female-focused ballad ‘How To Love‘ is going international, with a new remix featuring Spanish lyrics from Enrique Iglesias!?
Weezy wrote the sensitive, acoustic song as a positive message to women. On the new version, Iglesias takes the second verse, singing entirely in Spanish about a girl he once loved but who left him without saying goodbye.
Though Iglesias has been cranking out dance floor anthems lately, on the ‘How to Love’ remix he recaptures that breathy style seen in some of his quieter hits like ‘Hero.’ Just one complaint — the Auto-tune is completely unnecessary with someone who sings as well as he does.
Iglesias trades lines with Wayne as the song draws to a close, providing the Spanish-language response as Weezy sings, “See you had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart / Never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out / How to love, how to love.”
The original ‘How to Love’ didn’t need any improvement, but for those who speak Spanish or want to see Iglesias return to singing ballads, the remix is definitely worth hearing.
The Biebs had a bender … A fender bender that is. Justin Bieber, 17, was involved in a minor car crash in L.A. earlier today. It wasn’t even a crash as much as it was an “Ooops” moment.
Want the good news? No one was hurt. Not The Biebs. Not the driver of the other car. Not any pedestrians. So all the Beliebers need to put away the rosaries, since there is no need to pray novenas as the singer is fine and dandy.
Here’s what happened: A Honda collided with a posh-as-hell Ferrari being driven by Bieber. Maybe “collide” is too strong of a word, since sources say that the Honda merely “tapped” the Ferrari and there was no damage or exchange of insurance information.
However, The Biebs still called the cops, just to be on the safe side. The police assessed that there wasn’t enough damage to even file a report. There’s your tax dollars at work, Angelinos!
Oh, and about that Ferrari. Turns out that The Biebs doesn’t even own the vehicle. At least he’s not returning it all dented and dinged.
We’re glad to hear that The Biebs is safe, sound and was not injured in the fender bender.
Contrary to reports, T.I. will not see an early release from Forrest City Federal Prison in Arkansas after serving an 11-month sentence for violating his probation. According to the Atlanta rapper’s lawyer, Johnathan Leonard, that information is simply untrue.
Speaking with XXL, Leonard said T.I. will be release from prison on Sept. 29 as schedule, although, the date may change within the next 30 days. Furthermore, he says the Bureau of Prisons doesn’t release information of prisoners being released until the very last minute.
“The Bureau of Prisons makes all the decisions once [someone goes] into the federal system then the federal prisons is the governing body as to when he’s released, the judge has no control over it,” he explains. “And you don’t have any real contact with them, they don’t communicate with you and they don’t tell you when exactly he’s gonna be released.”
Leonard did speak with T.I. on Monday and he’s fine and well. “He’s doing great,” he says. “He’s certainly looking forward to getting this behind him.”
We will be waiting for you T.I. and keep your spirits up. See you when you get home. - djchris

The Internet is going nuts over Lil Wayne‘s controversial song ‘It's Good‘ (featuring Drake and Jadakiss), which recently leaked online. The presumed diss track, which appears on the rapper’s new LP ‘Tha Carter IV,’ features Weezy throwing lyrical jabs at the hip-hop king Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce:
“Talkin’ about baby money, I got your baby money, kidnap your b—h, get that how much you love your lady money / I know you fake n—a, press your brakes n—a / I’ll take you out, that’s a date, n—a,” he spits.
The stinging verses is in response to Jay-Z’s line on ‘H*A*M,’ in which he reportedly dissed Wayne and his mentor, Cash Money Records CEO Birdman. “I’m like really, half a billi n—a / Really you got baby money… [you] ain’t got my lady’s money,” he raps.
In an interview with VIBE, Wayne cryptically addresses his harsh lyrics against Hov and Bey-Bey, and seems unfazed by the notoriety the song has received on the blogosphere.
“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” he told the publication. “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”
For the Young Money leader, ‘It’s Good’ is just another track on the album. So whatever develops in response to the song, Wayne is ready to roll with the punches. “I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say [something on record],” he says. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.”
Honestly, we hope that Jay-Z doesn’t respond to the Weezy’s taunts. Two millionaire rappers throwing lyrical jabs at each other doesn’t really excite us unless the songs are good. However, Hov might fire back since Wayne call Beyoncé a b—h, which was very uncouth of him. - djchris
When news broke that R&B songstress Aaliyah had perished in a plane crash on August 25, 2001, her fans and music lovers throughout the world were shocked and devastated. Aaliyah was only 22-years-old and at the height of her career when her life was cut short after a plane crash in the Bahamas, which also claimed the lives of eight other passengers. Ten years after the tragedy, we are paying tribute to Aaliyah and her influential stamp on music, as she made big waves in the R&B industry up until her untimely and heartbreaking death that summer day.
Aaliyah first broke onto the music scene at the tender age of 15 with her 1994 album ‘Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number,’ which she released on Jive Records with the help of her mentor R.Kelly. With her beautiful, smooth and soulful vocals, the album yielded hits like ‘Back & Forth’ and a successful cover of the Isley Brothers’ ‘At Your Best (Your Are Love).’ However, her true breakthrough as a superstar wouldn’t come for another couple of years.
In 1996, Aaliyah released her second studio album under Atlantic Records with help from producers Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Jermaine Dupri. The LP, ‘One in a Million,’ not only cemented Aaliyah’s place as a powerful musical force, but it also helped further the careers of the production team working with Aaliyah. ‘One in a Million’ was a big success, being certified platinum not once, but twice, and birthing hugely popular singles like ‘If Your Girl Only Knew,’ ‘One in a Million,’ and ‘The One I Gave My Heart To.’
With her stunning beauty and immense talent, Aaliyah’s popularity just grew and grew as the years went by. In 1998, her track ‘Are You That Somebody?’ for the ‘Dr. Dolittle’ soundtrack dominated the airwaves during the summer. She starred in the film ‘Romeo Must Die’ in 2000, releasing the infectious Grammy-nominated sing-along ‘Try Again’ for the movie’s soundtrack.
After ‘Romeo Must Die,’ Aaliyah continued to showcase her hardwork and love for both acting and singing, as she starred in the motion picture ‘Queen of the Damned’ and also released her third and final album ‘Aaliyah.’ The eponymous record saw the release of five singles, including ‘We Need a Resolution’ and ‘Rock the Boat,’ three of which were released posthumously.
While leaving the Bahamas after filming her ‘Rock the Boat’ video, the small plane Aaliyah was aboard crashed shortly after takeoff due to exceeding the weight capacity. She was buried on August 31, 2001, with more than 800 people attending the service.
Although Miley Cirus has been embracing her wild side as of late, experts are saying that this drastic image change may not be beneficial to her career as an entertainer.
Recently, Miley Cyrus has been making headlines for things like smoking cigarettes, ripping bongs filled with salvia, and for her revealing outfit choices. FOX spoke to some experts who weighed in on Cyrus’ jump from ‘Hannah Montana’ to bona fide bad girl, and they all seem to agree that it was a bad move for Miley.
“Few entertainers can transition, and Ron Howard did, from lovable child actor in ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ to memorable adult actor in ‘Happy Days’ and ‘American Graffiti,’ to award-winning director of ‘Apollo 13,’” Jason Maloni, a crisis communication expert working for Levick Strategic Communications , said to FOX411’s Pop Tarts column.
“Miley Cyrus should aspire to be on that level and the first step is hard work. Unfortunately, it seems she isn’t far from the path many young adults follow: Exploring adulthood; testing the boundaries around them; and flirting with danger through reckless behavior,” Maloni continued. “The road ahead for Miley is to master her craft. Whether her future lay in music or acting, she needs to be studying at the feet of the best producers and directors there are, and also, watching the older artists and performers around her to learn from their mistakes as well as their successes.”
In addition to Maloni’s opinion on the Miley matter, FOX also spoke with Michelle Groover, a Public Relations professor at Georgia Southern University. “I believe for the young fans who have grown up with her, while she is trying to assert her independence, she is alienating this one-time target audience,” she said. “With ‘Hannah Montana’ still airing on ABC Saturday mornings, her fans are confused by what they see on the program with what they see on an entertainment website, a magazine they see and/or hear their parents discuss. Many of her fans are too young to understand the difference between the actress as a real person and the role she plays on the show.”
FOX asked a rep for Miley Cyrus to add a comment, but they refused. Maloni pretty much summed it up for all of us, adding, “At this point, Miley could be a flame, or flame out.” We hope it isn’t the latter.
The actress is suing the Cuban star for using her name in his latest club hit “Give me Everything.” TMZ is reporting that because Pitbull says “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” in the song, Lohan claims in her lawsuit that the lyrics are “defamatory statements” and “are destined to do irreparable harm.”
R&B singers Ne-Yo and Afrojack who wrote the songs are also defendants in the lawsuit. Lohan’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, is looking to stop the songs from being broadcasted by any of the defendants. - djchris
Move over Marge, Patty, Selma, Lisa and Maggie, because LADY GAGA is headed to Springfield to guest on an episode of the 23rd season of ‘The Simpsons. Gaga will appear as herself on the animated series. The episode is titled “Lisa Goes Gaga". Gaga will play herself and that the show’s writers describe her as “the happiest, most optimistic person in the world. She comes to Springfield to try to cheer up Lisa, but she can’t.”
Technically, the character of Gaga has appeared on the series before, as Elton John’s date to the Golden Globes (pictured above). But Gaga did not voice herself in that episode, so this is her first “official” appearance.
No word as to when this episode of ‘The Simpsons’ will air. - djchris

You have to be a pretty calculated jerk to commit an offense like this. TMZ reports that rapper Lil Wayne was the victim of a pepper spray attack on Wednesday night in Canada.
But the perpetrator did not spray the noxious substance directly at Weezy or in his face; instead, the offender snuck into an after party at club La Mouche in Montreal and laced the air ducts with the substance, causing what was no doubt an uncomfortable panic.
Weezy was hosting the after party and presumably having a good time when the person with too much time on his hands released the chemical into the club’s ventilation system. Everyone had to evacuate the premises.
Afterwards, Weezy’s rep confirmed that the rapper is “okay” and was “gearing up for his next stop in Toronto.” His nostrils and eyes were probably more than a little irritated, since pepper spray is some pretty nasty stuff.
It was not revealed if the authorities are launching a full investigation to apprehend the jerk who thought it would be a fun to pull such an asinine prank.
Two days. That’s all it took for Justin Bieber‘s street sign in Texas to be stolen by thieves. A street sign for Justin bieber Way was installed by Forney resident Caroline Gonzales, 11, when she won a contest to serve as “Mayor for a Day’ in her fair city. Main Street was transformed into Justin Bieber Way this past Tuesday, but sticky-fingered residents jacked the sign today.
“Mayor for Every Day But This Past Tuesday” Darren Rozell has said that he will have the sign replaced immediately, telling CNN.COM that “We don’t know if it was really a crazed fan who decided they had to have it or what.”
It could have been one of little Caroline’s classmates who wanted it for her wall, since she thinks she is the world’s biggest Belieber. Or maybe it was a pack of Bieber haters who couldn’t stand the thought of a street sign baring his wretched name. Perhaps a diehard Bieber fan traveled far and wide to get the sign for their town? The possibilities are endless. Endless!
While we applaud Rozell for his desire to replace the sign that Gonzales commissioned, it leaves us with this thought: There must be no crime or other pressing matters requiring government attention in Forney if replacing a Justin Bieber street sign becomes a priority on the “to do” docket.
The GAME has confessed to a social-media prank that jammed phone lines at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Compton station last Friday, which reportedly delayed emergency calls to the station.
The ‘Pot of Gold’ rapper caused a telephone flash mob when he allegedly tweeted the Compton Sheriff station’s number in response for an internship, which kicked off a barrage of calls to the facility. Authorities believe the calls lasted for two hours and that help was delayed in response to emergencies about a missing person, a spousal assault, two robberies and a stolen car.
During an interview with CNN, Game apologized for his part in the prank saying it was a joke gone wrong. “It was a simple mishap,” he said. “I was doing a photo shoot, and it was downtown Los Angeles, and one of my boys picked up my phone and started tweeting random numbers.”
According to Game, the tweet about the phone number was confused with an earlier tweet about a label internship that the rapper was offering to his 580,000 followers on his Twitter account. “The tweet about the internship was earlier in that day,” he said. “[My friend] never sent out a tweet that said these numbers are for the internship. He tweeted a bunch of numbers jokingly. We always play pranks on each other.”
Meanwhile, Sheriff’s Department Capt. Mike Parker isn’t laughing about the incident. He said the deluge of calls interfered with the staff’s ability to answer 911 calls. Parker said he may charge the rapper with at least three misdemeanors, each carrying a maximum sentence of a year in jail.
“In the age of new media that began just a few short years ago, musicians, celebrities and notable persons have a large number of followers on social media,” he said. “They have an obligation to be responsible and to care about the community and their fans, which includes not doing the social media equivalent of yelling ‘fire’ in a crowded movie theater.”
When asked if he’s worry about criminal prosecution behind the prank, Game responded, “If anybody (at the sheriff’s department) wants to take it further than that, I guess they have to do what they have to do. Like I said, again, ‘I never intended for anybody to take it the wrong way or for it to go this far, and just, you know, I think it’s all nonsense.’”
I hate to sound like a broken record, but let this be a warning to you celebrities on Twitter — watch what you tweet! - djchris
Nick Cannon is doing what he does again! The renaissance man landed a role as a recurring cast member on NBC's new fall comedy, Up All Night. Cannon will play Calvin, a spirited talk show emcee whose popularity irks co-host Ava.
If Nicki Minaj and Drake are trying to squash rumors that they are, in fact, a couple, their recent romp onstage didn’t help much. During the rap diva’s Aug. 13 stop in Toronto on Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour, she gave hometown hero Drizzy a steamy lap dance and what appears to be a passionate kiss.
We all know that during Minaj’s performance of ‘Super Bass,’ she gives an unsuspecting guy in the audience a lap dance. She even blessed her Young Money boss Lil Wayne with a booty twirl or two, so this is nothing new. But this time it got a little interesting between Minaj and Drake.
In the video, we see the Harajuku Barbie, wearing a new blue-colored boffo hairstyle and tight black leggings, give fellow Young Money artist Drake a view of the booming booty. Minaj then shows some more love by laying across the crooner’s lap and then the two embrace for what appears to be for a brief smooch. Afterward, Drizzy looked a little shell-shocked by the whole experience. So much so, he had to take a seat and gather his thoughts. In the end, it looked like harmless fun.
But in an attempt to thwart off any new rumors, Minaj went on her Twitter account to make it clear that her and Drake did not lock lips onstage. “And NO. We did NOT kiss,” she Tweeted to her fans.
Well, there you have it. No hanky-panky between the two superstars to report. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.
But we’ll let you decide for yourself below. - djchris
Having thawed out from his first deep freeze in 1997, Austin Powers made three mega-hit spy spoof flicks in five years before going dormant again. Now, he's once again headed back into the field (and the bedroom).
Mike Myers has signed on to a fourth film about the groovy, transported 60s-era British secret agent, the first since 2002's critically maligned but massively successful, "Goldmember," which co-starred Beyonce and made $296,000,000 at the box office.
It will be Myers' first trip back to the starring live-action big screen since his 2008 bomb, "The Love Guru"; he had a small part in "Inglorious Basterds." He's largely focused on voice work in his big money "Shrek" series. Something about Myers and accents derived from the British isles means major success, it seems.

‘Jersey Shore’ DJ Pauly D is about to get himself a record deal. And not just any record deal — he’s signing with 50 Cent‘s G-Unit Records.
XXXLMag.com says Pauly has a pending three-album deal with the imprint. He hopes to sign it before the end of the year. Pauly tells the site he expects the rapper to appear on his music: “We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him.”
Pauly D was a DJ long before ‘Jersey Shore,’ and he has some cred, having been tapped to appear on a handful of dates for Britney Spears‘ Femme Fatale Tour.
‘Jersey Shore’ airs on Thursdays on MTV. The current season features Pauly and the rest of the cast living in Florence, Italy. XXLMag.com also reports that Pauly will be featured in a new spin-off series on MTV focusing on his DJ career.
If Pauly’s albums are successful, perhaps he can help 50 Cent move up on the list of hip-hop’s top earners, where he only tied for 17th place. Fiddy has threatened to never record any new albums of his own due to Interscope delaying the release of his latest project.
It's true, every year the top tier on Forbes highest hip-hop earners list seat the usual suspects. But in 2011, Barbie's making some mula b**ch!
Making her debut at #15 on Cash Kings 2011, Nicki Minaj is snatching up more than personal achievements. She's the first female rapper to ever grace the list earning $6.5 million in the past 365 sitting above B.o.B and Pitbull.
Another surprise millionaire newbie was Wiz Khalifa who landed at numero eleven raking in $11 million this year.
And the top five of course looks like this: Hov ($37 milli), Diddy ($35 milli), Kanye ($16 milli), Lil Wayne/BabyEminem/Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg ($14 milli).
Lil Wayne can’t seem to catch a break these days. He was just released after serving some jail time for gun possession “but bro, it wasn’t loaded!”. It appears that the struggles will only continue as he has been smacked with a huge lawsuit from a production company that claims he ripped off a song they created in 2009.
Done Deal Enterprises, a company based in Georgia, is trying to get some money out of Lil Wayne for copyright infringement. All the details haven't yet been released to the public, so I can’t tell if there’s any reason that Lil Wayne would have heard the song they’re saying he allegedly copied, which would be key to their lawsuit’s success. Your product has to either be “common knowledge” (the legal term is slightly different, I’m not a lawyer, obviously) or you have to prove that the “copier” has experienced your product.
Lil Wayne is supposed to show up in court in October, so we’ll see how this whole thing shakes out. The Wayne song in question is "BedRock" and features artists Drake, Nick Minaj, and Lloyd; none of whom were named as defendants in the lawsuit. On the other hand, both Universal Music Group and Cash Money Recordswere named in the legal action by Done Deal.
Grammy-winning OutKast rapper Big Boi has been arrested in Miami on charges of illegally possessing drugs including ecstasy and Viagra pills.
The rapper, whose real name is Antwan Patton, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia on Sunday. According to the Miami-Dade County Corrections website, the 36-year-old Patton was also carrying MDMA, which is the main ingredient in Ecstasy.
The rapper was booked around 1:30 p.m. on $16,000 bond.
Phone and email messages were left for Big Boi's publicists.
Big Boi is best known as half of the groundbreaking rap duo OutKast, which includes Andre 3000. The Atlanta-based group won six Grammys and churned out six platinum-plus albums, including "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below," which sold over 10 million copies.
The incident was reported at around 10 P.M last night, when the alleged victim complained to parks police that she had been sexually assaulted by Big Sean, born Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, and another Detroit, Mich. man. Both men were subsequently charged with third-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and have since posted $500 bail and were released.
Representatives for Big Sean have yet to comment regarding the reports. Sean's long road to success was documented on his G.O.O.D. Music debut 'Finally Famous,' which was released on June 28, 2011.
Jay-Z Talks Watch the Throne; His Relationship With President Obama
Rapper Jay-Z stopped by Hot 97 today in NYC, where he discussed a number of topics, including reports surrounding his upcoming album with Kanye West, titled Watch the Throne and his relationship with President Barack Obama.
During the interview with Angie Martinez, Jay-Z addressed growing reports that he and Kanye West were feuding over details of the upcoming Watch the Throne tour, which is slated to kick off September 22nd in Detroit, Michigan.
"We have a healthy respect for one another and I know exactly where he's [Kanye] coming from," Jay-Z said. "It's always about the art and you have to respect that. And again, I've said that people who don't respect that, don't enjoy being pushed in that way."
Jay-Z also addressed criticism surrounding the pre-release of Watch the Throne, which angered a number of independent record stores across the country, who believe they will lose out on physical sales due to the Internet.
“As far as making this album, we took eight months," Jay-Z continued. "We should be able to release it the way we like, without everybody being up in arms. The real reason behind it is that we didn't want it to leak. We wanted to present it to the people in its entirety."
As for Watch the Throne leaking, Jay-Z said that would not happen.
According to Jay, the album has been guarded tightly since the initial recording sessions began.
Jay-Z also discussed his relationship with President Barack Obama, who he has met on several occasions.
Jay-Z detailed a trip to Washington D.C. , where he dined with Mayor Adrian Fenty and then headed to the White House, for a meeting with the Commander in Chief, of the United States of America.
According to Jay-Z, President Barack Obama is the “second coolest person in the world…," next to himself, noting that he received a "positive reaction" from the President.
"It's very humbling, it's weird, but I love it," Jay-Z said.
This past Saturday night, just a few minutes after 2:00 AM rolled around, when you were probably in bed or up to no good, "Headlines" the first single from Drake’s forthcoming sophomore LP was released online. Without even the slightest warning, Take Careseemed to become a bit closer in reach.
The melodic ode to being on top comes as a shift from his last few releases such as "Marvin's Room" and "Trust Issues" both of which embody darker sounds and heavier subject matter. As you sing along to this undeniably catchy hook, take in these five things we found between the lines.
1. Drake knows he’s winning, plain and simple.
Why:“I might be too strung out on compliments/overdosed on confidence"
"The realest on the rise/f**k them other guys”
2. He has no problem rehashing old rap hooks.
Why: See Shawty Lo's "DEY KNOW"
3. Money is still a big deal.
Why: “Drizzy got the money so Drizzy gon pay it"
"Money over everything/ money on my mind”
"Me, myself and all my millions.”
4. Drake likes to rap about his odd table manners.
Why: “Tuck my napkin in my shirt cuz im just mobbing like that”
5. There’s one line that will be quoted as a “diss” to some unsuspecting rapper.
Why: “Soap opera rappers/All these ni**az sound like “All My Children”
Deeper Than Rap: From closer investigation we think Weezy's jail stint had a real impact on young Aubrey Graham.
"You gonna make someone around me catch a body like that/no don’t do it/please don’t do it/ One of us goes in and we all go through it"
can't wait till his album DROPS! - djchris
Rihanna showed off her assets Monday (August 1) while she was on her home island of Barbados engaging in some festive activities. The 23-year-old superstar entertainer, who just wrapped her North American Loud tour last week, took part in a Kadooment Day Parade and dressed the part.
The girl once known for wearing baggy jeans and crop tops when she first popped on the scene stripped down to a barely-there red bikini decorated with jewels and donned a matching feathery headdress. By her side was her longtime friend Melissa, who also celebrated the occasion by dressing in a gold ensemble. One male fan even had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with Rihanna as he bent the fiesty performer down in front of him to dance provocatively in back of her.
Before taking part in the parade, Rihanna shared her love for Barbados via Twitter. "My home, my country, my people....BARBADOS!!! #1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN' BETTER! #RihannaNavy Miss u guys tho," the red-haired 'Cheers' singer wrote.
Rihanna took part in Kadooment Day to celebrate the ancient tradition of people masquerading in clothing of natural materials after giving the first grown crops to the gods for good luck. Kadooment Day is a public holiday in Barbados, which takes place during the Crop Over Festival. The event rejoices the end of the sugar cane crop harvest.
