JD3 has been around the music industry from the time he was in diapers.  Growing up in and around radio stations most of his life, it was only natural for him to become a DJ.  Learning many of his skills from his father JD Gonzalez Jr., JD Gonzalez III. doesn't only melt wax, he is a professional voice-over talent and imaging producer that has represented some of the largest corporations in the industry.  

   Born in Corpus Christi and raised in Miami Fl., DJ 3 knows a hit when he hears one.  "I believe that the industry needs more Program Directors and DJ's that are willing to take a chance on a record, in other words break a record.  I have worked with some Program Directors that are so reserved when it comes to new music that they want to wait and see who is going to play a track first.  Then, they want to see who is going to continue to play it until they give it even one spin on their airwaves.  That really irritates me.  Im all about being a leader…not a follower".  

   Leaving the Radio Industry by choice and because of our unstable economy in 2008, JD3 began his own company in September of 2008 know as RadioActive Productions, specializing in voice-over and creative production.  "What can I say, Im a studio junky. I love it"!  

   After almost 2 years of being absent on radio airwaves, JD3 was given the opportunity to get back into the radio game and join the Hot Z95 crew.  To JD3, Hot Z95 is old stomping grounds.  Back in 2004, JD3 was on air for a short time working weekends and covering on-air shifts for Gino.  Attaining #1 spot in every city during his radio career around different parts of the country, JD3 is now back at Hot Z95 with his own show which airs from 7pm-12am (Nights with JD3).  Make sure to listen for the Hot 8@8, Hit it or Quit it, and The Love Hour.
