Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience as a Marketing Director or Promotions Coordinator. Must be an excellent multi-tasker, have a clear understanding of radio programming, promotions, sales operations, and possess large event management skills. The Marketing Director will also be responsible for managing the digital assets for the cluster as well as manage the promotions team and interns.

The AE develpos and manages new business from local clients, focusing on new clients and selling standard packages across all local platforms including all radio stations and local internet sites. The AE understands the importance of successful cold calling, goal-setting, and time management, and is well versed on different buyer types and their concerns.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies prospects within Corpus Christi area
• Pursues and qualifies leads, either self generated or provided by support team/ other centralized resource coordinator
• Makes presentations, negotiates and closes sales with clients
• Works in partnership with support staff in the preparation of standard client presentations, order entry, post-sale reconciliations, collections, etc.
• Prepares for and attends internal meetings

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing broadcast automation systems
• Production and engineering of local programs and remote broadcasting.

Knowledge of NEXGEN and Audio Vault are helpful. Applicants should have a minimum of one year broadcasting experience but we will train the right person.
